On the point that conservationists need to produce scientifically valid data to support their arguments that a certain development should not proceed. This is very unfair as the developers are under no obligation to scientifically prove that their activities will result in all the jobs and all the prosperity they promise. It's a pity that someone can't come up with a birding records database, which with a few keystrokes can produce a fictitious, but plausible, series of records of sightings of rare birds for any tract of land in Australia. This would save a good deal of everyone's time. John Leonard To unsubscribe from this list, please send a message to Include ONLY "unsubscribe birding-aus" in the message body (without the quotes) |
