Lake Connewarre [near Geelong] must be the epicentre of Epianthura albifrons. I counted over a hundred there last saturday 18 7 99. They were the commonest bird, sitting up on shrubs in and around the samphire.
We found the Orangebellied Parrot there as well, great repeated views of three, then joined by another two, flushing up onto lignum, and another two over flying
