Hello all,
just a quick observation during the Vic Wader Count held on Sunday. Swan
Bay, lovely
day and a great time, some waders (Red-necked Stints, Bar-tailed Godwits,
Red-capped Plovers, Masked Lapwing) but the interesting observations of the
day;
33 Musk Duck in the northern part of Swan Bay in a large group - have only
seen single numbers before,
6 Whistling Kite in a group trying to pick something off the water. To far
for the bins to make out any detail though.

cheers
Richard Dilena
