I shall be visiting Cairns from 5 to 20 July (from PNG), and would be
interested in joining anyone birding in the area for a day somewhere in
that time.

and Red-necked Rails, Bush-hen, Double-eyed Fig-Parrot, Owls (Grass, Lesser
Sooty, Barking, Rufous), Nightjars (Spotted, White-throated); Barred
Cuckoo-Shrike, Robins (White-browed, Grey-headed), Whistlers (Mangrove
Golden, Grey), Bower's Shrike-thrush, Monarchs (Spectacled, Black-winged,
Pied, White-eared), Boatbill, Chowchilla, Lovely Wren, Atherton Scrub-wren,
Fairy Warbler, Mountain Thornbill, Helmeted Friarbird, Honeyeaters
(Yellow-spotted, Bridled, Red-headed, Macleays), Finches (Star, Blue-faced,
Black-throated), Tooth-billed Catbird, Golden Bowerbird, Victoria's
Riflebird.
