Today at approx 15.30 hours at Cooran (Noosa Shire, SE Queensland) I
listened to and watched an olive-backed oriole
in full song including mimicry. I couldn't identify all the mimicked
components but the ones I could identify were - grey butcherbird, noisy
miner, grey shrike-thrush, lorikeet, pale-headed rosella, yellow-tail black
cockatoo and rufous whistler! The only other bird nearby was a calling
fan-tailed cuckoo.
