I was down at Westgate Park - Port Melbourne, yesterday afternoon.  Very dry
with the lagoons the lowest I've seen them in 10 years.  Bird numbers were
very low.  The highlight was a couple of spiny-cheeked honeyeaters.  We
don't see them all that often this close to Melbourne.  They were here for a
short while about 3 years ago but definitely are a novelty around here.
