I too enjoyed Phil's reply, particularly the "lateral thinking" implied
in questioning the grey colouration (shared, incidentally, with Pacific
Heron and the European (?)Heron. My feeling is that this is as
interesting a thread as any other on birding-aus. For those less
interested there is always the "delete" option!
