Greetings all,
Anyone travelling to North Queensland over the coming weeks will have
to divert into Bowen and check out our resident Red-tailed Black
Cockatoos, numbering up to 80 in a flock.
They are having a tremendous time feeding on the Terminallia in our
local streets and certainly get up to some antics.
15.00 or 3.00pm on Saturday 17 April we will be conducting the Bowen
Birthday Bash at Santa Barbara Parade, Bowen. At that particular time
we will also be conducting birdwatching, if your travelling through
feel free to drop in and experience some Bowen hospitality and Bowen
Birds. Bowen top of the Whitsundays midway between Mackay and
Townsville,Australia.
