During the weekly walk at Pelican Point about 3km west of Perth City, we saw
a female Red-capped Robin. This is the first record at this site. There
have been few records on the Swan coastal plain. They are resident on
Rottnest Island, but apart from a few records from Thomsons Lake, Murdoch
University and possibly King's Park that I have heard of in the past 10 years.

It has been an interesting summer as there was a Rufous Treecreeper at the
start of summer.
