The decline must surely have been noticable as far back as 1996. Fay and I
ventured out there and were assurred by many locals that the Woodhen was ALL
OVER THE SETTLEMENT. Frequent daily searches did not produce one specimen
in and around the immediate settlement.
We eventually found a fair number in the "woodlands" out on the walk to
Little Edward(?).
