birding-aus Thanks to Trevors enthusiasm and rain putting off a job I had in the yard I took the chance and went to Catti NP, 50 km west of Sydney, this morning ( Wed 23/2 ) and inbetween the rain showers walked down to the river lookout behind the silos and there it was. Great views up to 20 m away as it moved around the mid story landing on mainly dead sticks and picking some thing of them that looked like catapillars with yellow insides when squashed. A world tick and therefore other ticks must follow. Unfortunatly the rain increased so I did not continue to Colo to look for the White-throated Nightjars. Thanks all for the info.
