I was recently in Singapore, where Mynas are a common inhabitant of the
city areas. However, they differ somewhat in appearance from the Common
Mynas now seemingly intent on taking over Australia. The mynas in
Singapore were a more slender bird, and lacked the distinctive coco-brown
body. They were, rather, a slaty grey/black. Is this a different species,
or a race of the Common Myna?
