birding-aus
Hi all.
A fellow wildlife carer has successfully raised a Common Bronzewing
Pigeon which now forages in her garden but also comes for a hand-out
quite often. It has recently discovered sunflower seeds and has
developed a passion for them. Having heard of Cockatoos getting sick on
a diet of just sunflower seeds my friend would like advice re how many
seeds it is wise to allow the pigeon to eat per day. She's currently
restricting it to about a dozen at a time. Any thoughts would be
appreciated.
Regards, Anne
