birding-aus

While I was on holidays recently on the NSW mid-north coast (Haliday's Pt
near Foster) I went out on a day trip with a local commercial operator.
It was a great day, with some good birding and great food and a pleasant
cruise of Lake Wallis near Foster. I also tried to do a Birding Breakfast
with the same operator but it was cancelled because I was the only taker!
Regardless of this, the guide pointed me in the right direction for a
couple of good spots, and even turned up later in the day and provided
plenty of helpful info. The guide was not an "expert" birder (by
birding-aus standards!!) but knew her local patch very well.

I can provide a trip list and all the necessary contact details for anyone
who is interested, and I'll add these to the Birding-Aus web site when I
update it (in the very near future ...).

Cheers

Russell
