Dear Karen,
What a great posting! Your joy and enthusiasm jumped out of my screen
and infected me also. The first time I saw a frogmouth was when we were
out collecting kindling sticks in wet weather. Roger reached out to pick
off a dead stick and it flew away! Since then I've seen several and,
yes, they do have gorgeous eyes. What amazed me was when I found out
their enormous mouths are a clear pastel green clour inside. Wierd...
