Jon,

this was almost certainly an Agile Wallaby (Macropus agilis) rather than a
Pretty- faced or whiptail Wallaby (M. parryi). The former prefer flat
country and footslopes, and the latter prefer upper slopes and tabletops,
at least in NQ. Adult Agiles weigh 9-15 (av 11) kg (females) and 16-27 (19)
kg (males) according to "The Mammals of Aust. (Strahan 1995).
