Head bobbing in Black Duck

Head bobbing in ducks can mean one of two things.  If the head bobs down
quicker than it bobs up this is a pre-copulatory display but if it bobs up
quicker than it bobs down this is an intention to fly display. If instead
of bobbing up and down the head moves back and forth then the bird is wary.
 If the head bobs up and down at the same rate then it is confused and if
it bobs up and down at the same time anything is likely to happen!
