We will be traveling to Victoria for a couple of weeks this month, and wondered if there was anywhere in the state that cockatiels/budgies can be seen? This probably sounds silly, but we would like to see them not only because we are birders...but because we have them as pets here at home, and would love to see them in their native habitat. I understand they inhabit the desert-like Outback, and wasn't sure if Victoria had any areas such as this. If anyone is aware of where they can be seen, I would greatly appreciate that information. Thank you!! Pat USA |
