While on the subject of butterflies: I travelled from Melbourne to the
Capertee Valley on 1 October - 30 degree plus temperature. There were
countless butterflies of five species for the entire length of this 1000 km
trip. Stuart Pell travelling from Brisbane to Capertee at the same time
had the same experience in the 1000 km of his trip. That's a hell of a lot
of butterflies.
