My apologies for not including the addresses in the Julatten Trees saga
update.  I did mean to but too many things to think of!

The Mareeba Shire Council's email is           Fax
(07) 4092 3323   but I think it is a waste of time contacting the
Council.  Would you believe they in fact treated the last lot of faxes
and email as somewhat of a joke!!

If you would, perhaps it is better to email a copy (for the Minister) to
me  at                                we can keep
track of it all then.

Nothing has happened in the last 48 hours.  One of our group managed to
get an appointment with the Minister on Friday.  At the moment the
Minister is being cautious.  He seems keen to see the outcome of a
report from the Wildlife Consultant probably later this week or early
next.  He did say he would ask the Council to delay work until this
report came forth.
