Hello all,

In a few weeks I'll be starting a new job with the Dept. of Environment
and Heritage researching Star and Crimson Finches on Cape York Peninsula
(Thank you Alex Appleman for putting the advertisement on Birding-Aus!)
A major part of the work will involve diet and habitat preferences
however I am also interested in distribution.I am interested in any
observations people might have of these finches in Queensland,
particularly on the Cape. Observations of feeding would be extra
interesting!

I'll be leaving NSW and Birding-aus on about the 10th October but any
mail sent to the address below would still get forwarded to me. So when
I unsubscribe in about ten days it will have nothing to do with
dissatisfaction with the group. I've enjoyed the discussions- some of
which I joined in on- some of which I watched from the sidelines with
interest. Keep it up!

Regards,

Michael
