The Threatened Species Network is working with the CFP recovery team to
coordinate a major search centred on north-eastern New South Wales from 17
to 24 October.

Keen volunteers are needed to assist in random searches as well as in fig
tree monitoring. The monitoring will also document other visiting
frugivorous species. There will be base camps, and most food will be
provided.

Volunteers will meet at Alstonville at 9:00 AM on Saturday 17 October for a
briefing. The general organisation and itinerary will follow last years?
search, with some changes made to search organisation.

Anybody who is seriously interested in participating should get in touch
with Mick Fendley at the BA National Office at
<> or at the contact details below, or call
TSN (QLD) on (07) 3221 0573.

Regards, Hugo.
