The amorous emu story made me remember a horse I once had (and this is
true!!!!!!!)

She'd lost her mother at birth and I raised her.   She always had contact
with other horses, but she really fell for a male cousin of mine who
visited regularly.

Whenever she was on season, she would seek him out and 'show' to him
vigorously!   He knew little about horses so didn't understand what she was
doing.

The poor man was incredibly embarrassed when I finally explained (after
some months of having a quiet laugh to myself).   The stallion I owned
didn't get a look in!

Maybe emus do go for lingerie etc?...!!!!
