Dear Australian Birders ;

After a very busy summer and a great parrot birding tour, I
am back at PARROT DATA E-MAIL CLUB NEWS LETTER.

I had just returned from our great bird trip, " Parrot and
Birds-of-Paradise Watching in Papua New Guinea ",
where we very fortunate to have seen nearly all the New
Guinea parrot species, that we could have expected to see,
and that was particularly satisfying for me.

We felt very good about the visit Papua New Guinea, and
we enjoyed very much the nature nature and the people
- and of course, all the parrotots and other ' live feathers ' -
we had the chance to meet !

The trip was an intensive nature experience with many great
impressions, which will take some time to gather together.

The Parrot Watching Tour provided us with a lot of good informations
and during the next months we must put it all in good use.

Trans Niugini Tours, PNG, was our main tour-operator, and you
can obtain more information on page http://www.pngtours.com

Furthermore I will kindly draw your attention to the Research
and Conservation Foundation of Papua New Guinea - RCF -
which you can check out on the web at
