Dear Sir/Madam

For the last two years I have observed a species of Silvereye in my
garden in Colac, Victoria. I see them for one day only towards the end
of June and they land in a large Lilly Pilly tree and feed on other
nearby flowering plants. Slaters "Field Guide to Australian Birds"
states that a Tasmanian species migrates to the mainland each year. I
was wondering if you could you tell me if it is possible that these
birds are the migrating species.

If so could you list some references to enable me to find out more about
this species

Hoping that you can be of assistance.
