G'day all Over the last few days I have been watching a flock (20-30) of Silvereyes from my office window. They have been feeding like Yellow-rumped Thornbills or Red-browed Finches - i.e. on the ground. I don't know what they are eating but the lawn has recently been mown and there may be lots of disturbed insects. I can't recall ever seeing silvereyes feeding on the ground like this. On another matter I am of to China and Singapore for a month on Friday so I'll unsubscribe for a while. Happy Atlasing!
