Here's the (albeit short) list of species we saw on the Monash 
Biological Society's inaugural birdwatching trip, at Churchill 
National Park, in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

BTW thanks everyone who replied to me about buying binoculars - it's 
certainly given me some food for thought!

Eastern Yellow Robin
Grey Fantail
Golden Whistler
Brown Thornbill
Striated Thornbill
Superb Fairy-wren
White-browed Scrubwren
Common Bronzewing
Noisy Miner
Australian Magpie
Grey Butcherbird
Little Raven
