Several of our local councils are being driven to distraction by Little
Corellas and Galahs "tip pruning" trees in parks and gardens. I suspect
the trees will recover, as from an insect plague but others think
they'll be killed. They're certainly unsightly, as is the litter of
leaves and flowers on the ground below. The councils are getting NPWS
permission to shoot the birds. Does anyone have a better idea which has
proven successful?
