G'day All,

Today there was an unexpected surprise near the centre of Brisbane, when
an almost full-breeding plumage Franklin's Gull was found hanging around
the river and harassing Silver Gulls in the manner of a Jaeger or Skua!
I've put a page together with images captured from video earlier today
(21/06/98)
Please have a look on http://ats.com.au/~aviceda/franklin.htm and send
comments via the links on the webpage.
Thanks to those that found the bird, and enjoy the pictures!

Good Birding and Browsing,

Tom and Marie Tarrant
