Save our Blue Wrens

We - the Bayside Friends of Native Wildlife - are lobbying hard to
contain development in our foreshore along Port Phillip Bay (and get
appropriate vegetation management).

In the whole municipality there are around 16 family groups of Superb
Fairy-Wrens left with about 6 at one location (around Sandringham
Harbour - the area is currently undergoing a Master Planning exercise).

We've heard that some Melbourne municipalities have already lost all
their Blue Wrens. Can anyone confirm that please or provide other useful
info to support our cause.

Replies directly to me please.
