Re Milburn's request for Red Gos sites, I saw a "possible - maybe probable"
(!!) just over a week ago at Big Mitchell Ck, between Mareeba and Mt Molloy,
far north Atherton Tablelands. It was flying fairly high, and directly away,
by the time I scrambled out of the bus. It was certainly red in the right
places, and right size and shape; I trust myself fairly well on raptors, and
this was 'different'. The only reason I'm not 'claiming' it is that it
appeared to have a pale rump.

This is a known area for them apparently, so would always be worth a look
(and it's a great place anyway!).

Cheers

Ian
