Blue-winged Parrot in Sydney

A juvenile Blue-winged Parrot was located by Jim Francis et al yesterday at
Kurnell near Cronulla, Sydney NSW and it was seen again today along with an
adult male. This is the first sighting in the Sydney area since 1986 when a
male was seen at the same locality (Hoskin et al 1989) which is the only
other record I believe.

The birds can be located on the saltmarsh next to the causeway leading to
Towra Point
