Trevor Hampel's comments re Flame Robins in the Adelaide hills is not quite
correct. These birds have turned up a few times in the 1990's, one case in
particular being a pair which were resident in the Mt. Compass swamp area
for at least two winters, approx 1995/6. Many members of the SAOA saw these
birds, but maybe the sightings didn't get recorded in the SA Ornithologist,
but were certainly noted in the newsletters of the time.
