Just a slightly different perspective on the book "The Human Nature of
Birds" by Theodore Xenophon Barber, to which Bonny Oliver gives such a plug.

I was sent one for review on the ABC; I seem to remember totally dismissing
it (which I have NEVER done, before or since, to a book) as
pseudo-scientific codswallop. This is not intended as any disrepect to Bonny
- simply that different people value different things. If I'd known that
Bonny was searching for one, I'd have happily sent her mine!

However, I'm now concerned that maybe I was unfair - I'll certainly look it
up again, and would be curious to know if anyone else had a reaction to it.

Cheers,

Ian
