Hi All,

The Werribee Phalarope was still present this afternoon, 1 Apr. Richard
Novotny's directions are first class. The bird, though, is pretty shy
keeping to the emergent grass. I have previously seen them on open water
and would not have expected this behaviour. It's a female coming into
breeding plumage.
