Threatened Bird Network News: The weekend of Saturday 28 Feb to Sunday 1 March 1998 will be devoted to surveying the numbers and distribution of the endangered south-eastern subspecies of the Red-tailed Black-Cockatoo, in western Victoria and south-eastern South Australia. Counters can come for either day or both. A bush camp site (probably in the Edenhope (W VIC) area) will be arranged for campers. Anyone interested in taking part should get in touch with Mick Fendley <> or at the National Office contacts below. Cheers, Hugo.
