Hi all,

Thank you to all those who requested 600/650 Club badges. They've
been sitting in a box for years and I couldn't bring myself to throw
them out, so I'm glad some of you still needed them. All orders have
been sent out so you should receive something in the mail shortly.
And in response to one query - no, they aren't made of string!

The 600s ran out very quickly, and apologies to those who missed out
on their quota. There are still lots of 650s left (and the New Guinea
badges, which say 1000, not 1200 as I previously claimed)
featuring a White-necked Petrel (thanks to Tony Clarke for pointing
that out - I didn't look too closely, honest, I was waiting to reach
650 myself before looking at it!).

So if you need an incentive to drag your list ever upward, or your
New Year's resolution is to see MORE and BETTER birds, why not invest
in a 650 Club badge (easy to use, cheap to run).

Just send an SAE to me at:

PO Box 9, World Trade Centre, Melbourne Vic 3005.

Happy New Year to all and keep ticking!

David Andrew
