Sorry for the delay but BHP Email system down a/c fire.
Light NE wind strengthening in the afternoon, overcast but nice.
9 people on board, most looking for the Black Petrel, but none seen out
of the many hungry Great-winged and Wedgies at the back of the boat.
Why do they turn up the next day, did they hear about the free feed ??.
Water temp to 19.7 to  21.5 C.

 Wedge-tailed Shearwater                1000+
Little Penguin                  2
Short-tailed Shearwater         2000+ constant stream of small flocks
heading Sth
Flesh-footed Shearwater         50
Fluttering Shearwater           100
Huttons Shearwater              2
Sooty Shearwater                2
Arctic Jaeger                   2
Kelp Gull                       1
Pomarine Jaeger                 15
Long-tailed Jaeger              3
Black-browed Albatross          2
Wandering Albatross             5  All Gibsoni   Capt Carl caught one
that had a non-local band on the right leg.

Mamals
Bottle-nosed Dolphins - 10 - 20  big oceanic ones, even riding the bow
wave
Fur Seal - 1
A  1 m Yellow-fin Tuna caught on the way in.
