OFFICE MEMO 'Recovery' programme Date: 19/11/97
This is a request for assistance for a worthwhile project. I have received a
call from Bronwyn Patrickson, who is a researcher for the ABC program
'Recovery'. I know nothing much about this program, but I believe it is
oriented to teenagers and deals with conservation and other important matters.
I think it's on a Saturday morning.
They would like to be able to produce a story covering birdwatching and its
interest for teenagers. Are there any teenage birdwatchers out there? Or does
anyone know of any who might be interested in going on TV???

This seems to me to be a 'too good to miss opportunity' of promoting this
fantastic interest of birdwatching to the generation of young Australians who
will all too soon be responsible for the future of the planet. And a fun
opportunity for a TV appearance! But I have exhausted my short list of
adolescent contacts.

If anyone is interested and able to help, please contact Bronwyn or Ann Kyle on

or (02) 9950 4969.
They are limited to travel up to 2-3 hours from Sydney, unfortunately.
Hope someone can help.
Thanks,
Jill Molan
