It's a pity that our arrogant and ignorant PM has endorsed the dreaded Jabiluka mine. Mr. Buddy with the Industrial sector. No respect for "world heritage" areas. More birds and mammals will die. 10 000 tonnes of Toxic waste. Human health risks. Nuclear evil. Why the hell do we need uranium????? Are we going to export it to France and Indonesia so they can make nuclear weapons to point at us later???? Conspiracy theories I know, but how bloody pathetic of our government. LORNE. PS - Who knows how close the mine site is to endangered species such as Banded Fruit-dove, Chestnut-quilled Rock-pigeons, White-throated Grasswren etc. ???? All animals will suffer though. |
