STATEMENT There is good reason to consider the indulgence of surveys of the "existence" of Coxen's Figparrot's as one of the great birding rip offs of public money. It is neither here nor there. While mammals and frogs are dying out in front of our eyes this peculiarly avian rave gets attention and money. CODICIL What is the justification, if there is one?
