     Highlights in New South Wales over the last week are as follows:

     BANDED LAPWING     2 Cornwallis Road, Windsor 5/10
     TOPKNOT PIGEON     10 Bilgola last week, 4 Concord 5/10, both Sydney
     DOLLARBIRD         1 Mitchell Park, Cattai 5/10 - first return
     CHANNEL-BILLED CUCKOO      1 Glenbrook, Blue Mountains 28/9
     KOEL       widespread arrival in Sydney 28/9 - 4/10 with many records
     PALLID CUCKOO      2 Mitchell Park, Cattai 5/10
     SHINING BRONZE CUCKOO      1 dead central Liverpool 30/9
     BARN OWL           2 at junction Old Windsor & Windsor Roads,
                        Kellyville 3/10 at 7:15pm
     RED-LORED WHISTLER         1 male Round Hill NR 4/10
     GREY-FRONTED HONEYEATER    2 Round Hill NR 5/10
     BLACK-CHINNED HONEYEATER   2 Scheyville (Windsor) 28/9
     BLACK HONEYEATER   1 male Round Hill NR 5/10
     CRIMSON CHAT       1+ between Round Hill and Lake Cargellico 4/10
     ORANGE CHAT        1+ between Round Hill and Lake Cargellico 4/10
     WHITE-BROWED WOODSWALLOW   several over Mittagong 2/10
     WHITE-BREASTED WOODSWALLOW "returned" to Pittwater 28/9

     and finally a Common Pheasant was seen near the Polo Club at Richmond
     28/9
