Their demo of BirdBase at that site is quite impressive (IMHO).

Do you need a checklist for any U.S. state, any Canadian province, any
nation in the world, any ABA reporting region or area, any world faunal
zone, or almost any major island or island group important to birders?
We
will produce the list, with the endemics on it labeled, using our
program
BirdArea and the results of Shawneen Finnegan's five-year project of
collecting and analyzing bird range data from many hundreds of
authoritative publications and private communications. Then we will send

it to you by e-mail without charge.
