Bird recording program - help wanted

Hi birders,

For a university assignment I am trying to put together a design for a
computer program for recording bird observations and I would like some
assistance from anyone who has ever used or contemplated using a computer
based program for recording their observations.

If you could answer the following questions and email me directly to
 - please don't clutter up the list with replies.

1. What features would you like to see?

2. What are some features of other programs that you don't like?

3. What platform should it run on? Windows95, 3.11, DOS?

4. What should it be called (or perhaps What shouldn't it be called - I
don't want to steal someone else's name!)

5. Any other comments
