On 18 Jul 97, this book, "BIRDS - An Illustrated Field Guide to the Birds
of Singapore" was launched.

The text is written by Lim Kim Seng, a local keen birdwatcher since the age
of 10, and the graphics by Dana Gardner, an American birdwatcher, traveller
and artist.

There are some 350 species recorded in this Field Guide covering resident
and migrant birds.
