I was informed today about a Fiordland Penguin found at Northcliffe on the
south coast of WA. It is being looked after in a backyard swimming pool. It
is feeding well and is expected to be released in a few days.

This is reported to be the 6th record for WA.

Unfortunately, I am busy writing my web pages, and Northcliffe is just a bit
more than a day return trip from Perth.

The weather in Perth is beautiful (except for record freezing at night), and
so the pelagic on Sunday should be excellent.
