Hi Birding Ausers,

I'll be in Darwin for a short stay soon and since Banded Fruit-dove
is one of those endemics in out-of-the-way places that I haven't seen
despite numerous attempts, I thought I'd have another crack at it.
This one is particularly vexing since I recently saw the subspecies
on Lombok!

Does anyone know of a good site where they have been seen recently? I
don't mean 'in the general area of Nourlangie Rock or UDP Falls'
type directions - I've been to both places many times. Does anyone
know of any fruiting fig trees where they are feeding? My time's a
bit limited, you see, and I'd like to try for Mangrove Golden Whistler
on the way back into Darwin.

Many thanks for all leads.
David Andrew
