On 4-5 June we travelled from Melbourne to Devonport via the "Spirit of
Tasmania". At dawn we tok up position at the stern and saw a juvenile southern
giant petrel and a white headed (shy) albatross. A white faced storm petrel
was found sheltering on B deck. The crew look after storm blown birds and
release them when fit.
