Squatter Pigeon

Can nayone provide me with information. I have come across a short reference
to the rare southern race of the Squatter Pigeon 'found around Cobar and
White Cliffs' in north western NSW, but it isn't mentioned in the then
RAOU's threatened birds volume (not even in the appendix where rare
subspecies of secure species are listed), or anywhere else I can find.

Has anyone seen this species in those parts?I am planning another trip out
that way, probably next autumn, and if I could get more information I might
try to mount a small-scale search.
