Rohan,
I am not a golf player so I have had limited experience with golf
courses. However, there is a rather large course smack bang in the middle
of the renowned Fraser's Hill in Malaysia which was (when we were there)
totally devoid of avifauna even though the surrounding forest was full
of feathered & furred critters. It was nothing more than a huge blight on
the landscape as far as I could tell-in 9 days we saw not one person on
the thing.I lived in Japan for a number of years & I can assure you they
are intent on turning the whole country into a giant million-holed golf
course! As you can tell I'm not a big fan....keen golfers may have
different opinions though.
